Shizuo Nishizawa was born in 1912 the old port town of Kobe in Hyogo Prefecture.
The artist was famous worldwide for his depictions of characters from the puppet theatres of Japan and his works are highly sought after due to the small limited editions he produced.
Condition: Excellent condition - framed within a textured mount by the "Kato" gallery, Tokyo - Numbered 1/30 (first printing of the edition) - titled & Signed - the brochure and price list are in excellent condition - see all images for condition.
