Type III, 2nd style receiver with cloverleaf stock tang, wave matting over chamber, D&T on top, Matching number on bolt sleeve has transitional safety on cocking knob. Checkered walnut stock w/ checkered steel buttplate & sling swivels. CONDITION: very good blue with scattered spots of oxidation, marks & cycling wear. Wood shows areas of added varnish, numerous handling marks & gouges; buttplate gray patina appearance. Very good rifling with dark spots on lands. (26-220/MD). CURIO. $800-1,200.
