A printed program, 8pp. 11.5 x 8.75 in., Berlin, from the notorious propaganda film 'Der Ewige Jude' ('The Wandering Jew', later retitled 'The Eternal Jew'), a 1940 antisemitic Nazi propaganda film, presented as a documentary. The film was directed by Fritz Hippler at the insistence of Nazi Minister of Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, and consists of feature and documentary footage combined with materials filmed shortly after the Nazi occupation of Poland and released as an issue of the magazine 'Illustrierter Film-Kurier'. The program bears very little text and consists almost entirely of unflattering and stereotypical shots of Polish Jews, one shown a kosher butcher smiling with upraised knife, an African mask used for facial comparison, and on the cover an image of Peter Lorre (also Jewish) in character as a child molester from the groundbreaking 1931 film ‘M’.
