Cast bronze bust attributed to a Bund Deutscher Madel artist, 12.5 in. tall, in the typical style of ‘Aryan’ art personifying the German ‘ideal’. Marked with the unidentified artist's initials ‘V.S.’ on the back at the left. Some verdigris to the crown, else very good. The B.D.M. was the female branch of the German youth movement in the Third Reich, the Hitler Youth.
