The theory and invention of the atomic bomb, originally released the same month the bomb was first used on Japan. WITH: an almost comical two-sided 4 x 2.5 in. card issued by the Government Printing Office to the military advising actions to be taken in the event of an air-burst of an atomic weapon. Suggestions and advice include: '...if you are not wounded or burned, you need not worry about radiation...[lingering radiation is] so small it is not a hazard. Disregard it...The war won't be over. Get back to work...' Two pieces.
