(1919-2010) American conceptual artist, known particularly for his works of space art. McCall contributed murals to the National Air and Space Museum and the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, as well as designing the mission patches for the Apollo 17 moon mission. Exceptional original signed limited edition lithograph, 22 x 32 in., an artist's proof of his work 'Splashdown' depicting an Apollo mission capsule seconds after its ocean landing and with three parachutes wafting in the breeze above it.
