Brian Duffy autographed flight-flown cover documenting carriage aboard a T-38 aircraft during Space Flight Readiness Training. The cover is completed in manuscript with the flight details, including departure from Ellington Field, Texas, destination New Orleans Naval Air Station, October 5, 1985, aircraft T-38, aircraft no. 913, the mission purpose noted as “Space Flight Readiness Training,” and remarks reading “Formation with T-38 960.” Duffy has signed in black ink.

Brian Duffy (born 1953) is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel and NASA astronaut who flew on four Space Shuttle missions. He served as pilot of STS-45 in 1992 and STS-57 in 1993, and commanded STS-72 in 1996 and STS-92 in 2000. Following his astronaut career, Duffy held senior leadership positions at NASA’s Johnson Space Center before later serving in executive roles within the aerospace industry. Over the course of his spaceflight career, he logged more than 40 days in space.
