Early Federal-era newspaper featuring extensive political reporting and commentary during the growing diplomatic crisis between the United States and Great Britain in the months preceding the War of 1812. Contents include domestic and foreign news, Congressional reporting, mercantile notices, and editorials discussing American trade, British policy, and the increasingly strained international situation.
Expected age toning, horizontal and vertical fold lines from period storage, scattered foxing and light staining, and moderate edge wear with scattered small chips and short tears, most notably along the upper edge.
