Description:  Rare George III Mother of Pearl Hafted Silver Bladed Folding Fruit Knife.

The handle is decorated with silver roundels.  There is a plain solid silver spine along the edge of the piece.

The silver blade is stamped with two George III heads to represent the Doubling of Tax Duty on Silver which was used for nine months only during 1797.
 
Length open is 5.75 Inches.
 
Condition: Very Good.  The silver blade springs in and out of the handle.
