The handle is plain.  There is a long sleeve silver bolster.  There is an engraved diagonally striped solid silver spine along the edge of the piece.
 
Dates to around 1790.
 
Length open is 4.25 Inches.
 
Condition: There is very slight wear to the mother of pearl handle at the bottom of the handle on the front side.    The silver blade springs in and out of the handle.
