The handle is plain, and has an engraved silver cap.  There is the name "Ellen Simpson" engraved on the oval plate to the centre of the handle.  There is a plain solid silver spine along the edge of the piece.
 
 Hallmarked for London 1881, and made by Thomas Bradbury & Sons.
 
 Length open is 6 Inches.
 
 Condition: Good.  The blade springs in and out of the handle.
