The handle is decorated with floral pattern and is inlaid with silver pique work.  The silver blade has bright-cut engraving to both sides of the blade.  There is an engraved solid silver spine along the edge of the piece.
 
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1847, and made by John Tongue.
 
Length open is 5 Inches.
 
Condition: Good.  The silver blade springs in and out of the handle.
