The handles are plain, and are decorated with metal roundels down the length of each handle.  The knife blade has an engraved bright-cut edge to it, and the fork blade is engraved as well.  There is an engraved solid silver spine along the edge of the piece.  The pair come apart into two pieces and lock together with brass plates.
 
 Dates to around 1800
 
 Length open is 5.5 Inches.
 
 Condition: Good.  Both blades spring in and out of the handles.
