The Blade has a bright-cut bordered edge to it.  There is a diagonally striped silver spine along the edge of the piece. 
 
 Dates to around 1790.
 
 Length open is 4.5 Inches.
 
Condition: There is a hairline split to the handle on both sides at the very bottom of the handle, and very slight wear to the top of the handle.   There is no spring left to the silver blade.
