Description
A pair of pin-back tinnies commemorating the National Labor Day (Tag der Arbeit) celebrations, dated 1934 and 1935. The 1934 example is a round badge in what appears to be brass/bronze-toned metal with a stylized worker's head, hammer, and eagle over swastika; reverse shows faint impressed lettering. The 1935 example is an oval badge in what appears to be zinc/white-metal depicting three workers with tools above an eagle and swastika, marker-marked on the reverse 'Wilh. Schröder & Co., Lüdenscheid.'
