A Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen (Westwall Medal), bronze-toned, depicting an eagle with swastika above a crossed shovel and sword on the obverse, with reverse inscription 'FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS' within a wreath border. Housed in its original issue envelope, one printed 'Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen' and the other stamped 'Carl Poellath Schrobenhausen', the maker's mark.
