WW2 American U.S. Marines flag dated 1942 Multi-piece flag, each band a separate strip, each of the 48 stars individually stitched. Issued to the U.S.M.C. in Philadelphia in 1942. 95 by 60 inches.
This lot has been carefully framed using real wood framing and professional display quality perspex. all pictures of flag identification have been taken and are attached for provenance on the rear of the frame.
