Federal Mahogany, Mahogany Veneer, and White Pine Card Table Massachusetts, c. 1815 Fine single-board mahogany top and leaf opening to form a square surface with serpentine edges and quirked ovolo corners, the fixed top joined with pocket screws to a conforming apron of veneered pine containing a single drawer with veneered bow front dovetailed to white pine case and retaining period brass pull, raised on ring-turned and reeded legs terminating in spindle feet, the front legs with conforming reeded pilasters and the rear legs with square pilasters, that on the right joining a box-hinged fly rail, old refinished surface, closed, 93cm wide, 45cm deep, 71cm high (37 1/4in wide, 18in deep, 28 3/8in high).
