Footnotes: Note Sir Andrew Mitchell (1757-1806) was promoted to Rear-Admiral of the Blue in 1795 and Vice Admiral in 1799. In August 1799 he took part in the Anglo-Russian invasion of Holland and during that action obtained the surrender of a Batavian Navy Squadron in the Vlieter incident.
