Serial number 322159, .31 caliber, octagon barrel marked on the top 'ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA.', the left side of the frame marked 'COLTS/PATENT' cylinder with roller engraved stagecoach scene, brass grip frame and trigger guard marked '31 CAL' on the left side, walnut grip; all visible serial numbers match including the wedge. Barrel lg. 4, overall lg. 8 3/4 in. Condition: Barrel toned to gray brown but with blue finish remaining on the underside flats and bottom flat as well as around the wedge slot; frame retains traces of case color, cylinder scene is nearly complete; grip frame and trigger guard retains a trace of silvering, grip show wear and has scattered dings, dents and scrapes, action functions properly.
