Brass hilt with rough cast counter-guard, two branches connecting to the knuckle bow and pommel cap, black leather wrapped grip with twisted brass wire wrapping; curved single-edge blade with false edge at the tip and single wide fuller. Blade lg. 34, overall lg. 39 in. Condition: Hilt is toned to deep yellow, grip shows areas of wear and surface loss; blade is toned to brown and has overall light to moderate pitting, tip is chipped and there are grind marks at the ricasso, hilt is tight on the blade and there is evidence of re-peening on the pommel.
