This deluxe edition is hand-numbered 53 from a limited edition of 5,000 copies and is signed by numerous contributors to the volume, including Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Peter Blake, Anita Pallenberg, Derek Taylor, Sandy Lieberson, Terry Doran, Allen Jones, Adam Cooper, Stash Klossowski, and Colin Self. The volume additionally includes the original photographic film-strip bookmark issued with the edition.

Michael Cooper (1941-1973) was one of the most celebrated photographers of the British music scene during the 1960s. Closely associated with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and London's counterculture movement, he photographed iconic moments including the cover of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and numerous landmark images of the era. His work remains among the most recognizable visual documentation of the cultural revolution of the 1960s.
