Eddie Cochran autographed canceled Bank of America check, dated June 14, 1956, drawn on the Bank of America, Sonora Branch, California, and completed for $100.00. The check is signed on the face by Frank Cochran and endorsed on the reverse by Eddie Cochran in blue ink, "Edward R. Cochran." Bank cancellation stamps and punch cancellations are present, reflecting normal banking use.

Fine condition. The check exhibits expected banking punch cancellations, cancellation stamps, fold lines, and light age toning. The reverse bears a bold endorsement signature by Eddie Cochran.

Edward Raymond "Eddie" Cochran (1938-1960) was one of the pioneering figures of rock and roll. Blending rockabilly, rhythm and blues, and country influences, he helped define the sound of late-1950s rock music with enduring hits including "Summertime Blues," "C'mon Everybody," "Somethin' Else," and "Twenty Flight Rock." In addition to his success as a performer, Cochran was an accomplished guitarist, songwriter, and studio innovator whose influence extended to later generations of artists including The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and countless others. His career was cut tragically short when he died at the age of 21 following an automobile accident while touring in England in April 1960, cementing his legacy as one of rock music's most influential early stars.
