John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr autographed copy of In His Own Write by John Lennon. Published in London by Jonathan Cape, first published March 1964, this example is the second printing issued in April 1964. The 78-page volume retains its original pictorial boards and features John Lennon's illustrations throughout.

The book is signed by all four members of The Beatles. On the first front free endpaper, John Lennon has inscribed, "To Diane love From John Lennon xxx" in black ink. George Harrison has signed beneath, "To Diane love from George Harrison xxx" in blue ink, while Ringo Starr has added his signature, "Ringo Starr xxx," in black ink. Paul McCartney signed separately on the Introduction page, inscribing, "Love from uncle Paul xxx," also in black ink.

Signed copies of In His Own Write are scarce, while examples bearing authentic signatures from all four Beatles are exceptionally desirable, particularly those signed contemporaneously to the book's 1964 publication during the height of Beatlemania.

The pictorial boards exhibit scuffing and heavy edge wear. The spine covering is detached along one side. Numerous pages are loose, and several retain old browned tape repairs. A vintage black-and-white photograph of The Beatles has been affixed to the verso of the contents page, opposite the Introduction page signed by Paul McCartney.
