Workers often left the "Mod. 98" text untouched on the receiver sidewall because it was time-consuming to grind down the sides. They also occasionally left small German inspection stamps intact on hidden areas like the bolt, rear sight assembly, trigger guard, and barrel | The most interesting thing about this one is the original German K98 stock that was left intact with the HEER Army Stamp just barely visible and the beautiful red striped grain |||| CONDITION: Excellent. 99% Original Blued Finish.
