Old Ben's skull from Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) used the skull of a slave named Ben that had previously taken care of him and his father to demonstrate his mistaken belief that black people were genetically predisposed to be subservient.

This hollow upper skull has been cast in resin and hand-painted to imitate bone with details including deep cranial sutures and embedded teeth. It features a removable section at the back, which Candie saws off during his speech to point out three dimples on the inside, and has since been glued in place. The skull exhibits some cracks in the resin on the back section and notable loss of adhesion on the section. Dimensions: 7" x 6.25" x 6" (18 cm x 16 cm x 15.25 cm)
