A finely fashioned Sino-Tibetan snuff bottle, the faceted translucent ruby-red body mounted with elaborate chased and pierced gilt-silver fittings, set with turquoise-colored and red cabochons, the domed stopper surmounted by a twisted finial. The ornate metalwork and jeweled decoration reflect the luxurious Tibetan-market tradition of the Qing period.
