Condition Report:
The board sits slightly loose within the frame but appears to be providing good support. Fine craquelure is present across the image but the surface appears to be stable overall. Abrasions and superficial scratches. Some overpaint is visible in natural light, most notably to the sky. Retouching to cracking in the trees is also evident in a raking light. Inspection under UV reveals further scattered areas to the sky, trees and cottage. The image presents a slightly cloudy, unevenly applied varnish and surface dirt.
