Made in Canada. 1930 - 1940. Single-sided porcelain (SSP). Boswell Canada's first brewery was founded in 1843. They merged with Dow Brewery in 1952. Champlain was founded in 1911 and after multiple ownership changes throughout the late 1940's and early 1950's, the physical brewery closed its doors in 1956. Trays are unmarked. Condition
Boswell retains excellent colour and gloss. Edge wear with minor chips to extreme edges. Light surface staining and scratches. Champlain retains strong colour. Moderate surface scratching throughout Chips along outer edge.
