Made in Canada. 1961. Single-sided porcelain (SSP). This style of post office sign was distributed to post office locations from the late 1950's to the mid 1960's. The signs were produced in single sided and double sided porcelain with this being the single sided version. Larger post office locations had the option of receiving a larger version of the sign with their town's name filled out on a privilege panel at the bottom of the sign. Marked, "61" upper left corner.
