The absence of a hyphen between "Fire" and "Chief" means when the sign was sourced out to independent enamel manufacturers, they occasionally, but unintentionally, left out the hyphen. Over time, the unhyphenated design became a standard look for Canadian gas pumps. Marked, "P & M ORILLIA 57" lower right edge. Authenticated by The Authentication Company (TAC #501846).
