The company moved its headquarters to Toronto in 1900 and expanded its financial services internationally. In 2003, Canada Life was acquired by Great-West Lifeco. The company’s corporate structure shifted significantly on January 1, 2020, when Great-West Life, London Life, and the original Canada Life officially amalgamated into one unified entity under the Canada Life banner.
