Wilhelm Schimmel (?-1890) carved and paint-decorated eaglet with nicely carved wings and tail and a strong beak. Purchased from antique dealer David Wheatcroft who purchased the carving in 2017 at a Pook & Pook auction. 5"H

Areas of damage around both eyes. Scattered areas of inpainting, especially in the breast area.
