U.S.A./PAT. FEB 16 8 . July 20 1886" | Manufactured prior to before they started stamping the gauge on the barrel |||| CONDITION: Fair. 30% darkened brown patina finish on surface. No pitting. Wood stock and forend are in very good condition with beautiful wood grain. Small hairline crack at wrist, coming from bottom tang. Top tang screw shows weld. Metal checkered butt plate is very nice with some wear. Seems to mechanically function as it should. Bore is fair with some pitting throughout, which is common on blackpowder shotguns.
