Description
This scope is a 5-power, fixed-magnification telescopic sight introduced around 1908–1909 and gained fame as the first widely successful targeting and sniper scope used by the U.S. Marine Corps and Army during World War I on Model 1903 Springfield and Canadian Ross rifles. Scope is in excellent condition, and has ring mounts. The scope has visible reticle and clear optics. The wood case it comes in has a paper fixed inside the lid that reads “Telescope, Bore Sight/Mk.
