S#: 22181S4 | 26.5” Barrels with 2-3/4” Chamber | 14.25” LOP | Manufactured in 1964 | This is an extremely rare Browning Superposed 4-barrel set that features a single serialized receiver (22181S4) paired with four matching, numbered 26.5” Vent-Rib Barrels (12, 20, 28 and .410 gauge). Includes the original universal forearm with matching iron, and hardware, and stamped inside the wood as well. Housed in a black leatherette takedown case ||| BARRELS: .410 Skeet/Skeet, 28 GA - Skeet/Skeet, 20 GA - Skeet/Skeet and 12 GA which is also Skeet/Skeet. All the barrels are chambered for 2-3/4” Shells and fitted with a nice vent rib marked by Simmons. Has a Pachmayr White Line Recoil Pad most likely installed from the factory |||| CONDITION: Very good. Receiver shows 90% original blue finish with some thinning on the underside. Crisp engraved designs. Wood stock is very good with some minor storage wear. Absolute beautiful wood grain and checkering. Forearm is good and solid with 2 repaired cracks up near the top edge. These universal forends can be a bit tricky so someone must’ve improperly put it on or taken it off at one point and damaged it. It has since been repaired and can be put on and taken off without harm. It also has nice wood grain and checkering. Mechanically functions. All barrels are excellent and all except for the 12 and 20 look like they have been used very little if any. They exhibit minor storage wear but all have beautiful 98%+ original blue finish and excellent shiny bores. The case shows a great amount wear to the leather on the exterior. The green fur lined interior is in excellent condition. This is a very nice for the serious browning collector! ||||| CLASS: C&R
