Fossilized Triceratops Tooth

This authentic fossil tooth belonged to Triceratops, one of the most recognizable dinosaurs of the Late Cretaceous period. Famous for its three horns and large bony frill, Triceratops was a powerful herbivore that roamed ancient North America. Despite being prey for formidable predators such as Tyrannosaurus rex, fossil evidence suggests these dinosaurs were capable of fiercely defending themselves using their impressive horns.
