Circular printed cardstock chart bound together in a manner that allows each to rotate independently, 9.5", Raytheon Company, Waltham, Massachusetts, 1969. Fine condition.
This chart serves as a visual guide to the entire Apollo 11 mission, detailing key events from lift-off to splashdown. It features concentric rotating discs that allow users to align days and hours (Ground Elapsed Time - g.e.t.) with specific mission phases and events, such as Translunar Insertion, Lunar Orbit Insertion, Lunar Touchdown, Trans-Earth Insertion, and Earth Entry.
Apollo 11 was the first crewed mission to land on the moon, achieving that objective on July 20, 1969, when astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong successfully landed the Lunar Module and famously stepped out onto the moon's surface.
