Agfa, based in Berlin 1867, was split after 1945 into East (ORWO/Bitterfeld) and West (Agfa/Leverkusen for paper and Munich for camera) divisions. In the late 1950s, the company acquired various firms, including Leonar/Wandsbek, Mimosa/Kiel and Perutz/Munich; in 1964, it merged with Gevaert N.V./Mortsel while continuing to maintain their established product lines. After 1945, Agfa’s secret patents (including the Koslowski effect) were sold by the Allies to anybody, leading to a worldwide improvement in emulsion quality. Bruno Uhl, a former Agfa director, played a key role in establishing Photokina 1950. Details regarding Agfa’s business operations between 2004 and 2007 remain unclear depending on the source, particularly given reports that coating machines were prematurely dismantled in 2007. Advertising materials: 30 x 40 cm display stands for Isolette, Clack, and Silette; various Agfa rhombus-shaped displays from 1924 onwards; ashtray; an early 38 cm steel Agfa rhombus emblem; Agfacolor bookmarks; a Gevacolor illuminated display unit for sales counters; and the "Ich rufe die Jugend der Welt" (I Call Upon the Youth of the World) album commemorating the 1936 Berlin Olympics (pages 1 and 2 missing), its photographs are taken only by Agfa films and papers. Agfa, 1867 aus Berlin stammend, wurde nach 1945 in Ost (ORWO/Bitterfeld) und West (Agfa/Leverkusen Papier und München Kamerawerk) geteilt. Agfa (West) übernahm in den späten 50er Jahren (nebst anderen Firmen) Leonar/Wandsbek, Mimosa/Kiel, Perutz/München, fusionierte 1964 mit Gevaert N.V./Mortsel und pflegte deren bewährte Produkte weiter. Die Geheim-Patente der Agfa (u.a. Koslowski-Effekt) wurden nach 1945 von den Allierten an jedermann verkauft und brachten weltweit einen Qualitätsanstieg der Emulsionen. Bruno Uhl, einer der ehemaligen Agfa-Direktoren, engagierte sich für den Aufbau der Photokina 1950. Die Agfa-Geschäftsvorgänge ab 2004 bis 2007 sind je nach Quellenlage unklar, zumal angeblich 2007 Gießmaschinen voreilig abgerissen wurden. Werbemittel: Aufsteller in 30 x 40 cm für Isolette, Clack und Silette, verschiedene Agfa-Rhombus-Aufsteller, ab 1924, Aschenbecher, 38 cm lange frühe Agfa-Raute aus Stahl, Lese-Zeichen Agfacolor, Gevacolor-Leuchtpult für die Verkaufstheke. Im Olympia-Album Berlin 1936 (Seite 1 + 2 fehlen) "Ich rufe die Jugend der Welt" beruhen alle Aufnahmen auf Filmen und Papieren von Agfa. Filme: Agfa-Röntgen-Film (Blechdose für 18 x 24 cm), Sicherheitsfilme Kalle Ozaphan Agfa 16 mm (u.a. Olympische Winterspiele 1936) in verschiedenen Längen, Plattenschachteln, Luftbildfilm. Chemie: dekorative Chemikalien-Dosen. Papiere: Papiermuster von Agfa, Gevaert, Leonar, Mimosa und Tura, Schriften. Kataloge: Hauptkataloge 1936–1953. Hauszeitschriften: Agfa-Photoblätter, Perutz-Mitteilungen. Kameras: Super Isolette mit Solinar 3,5/75 mm.
