Musical box for 15 ¾ in. discs, with 78 teeth in single steel comb, open-topped ebonised case, the comb concealed beneath the japanned steel top-plate, with Polyphon Excelsior banner and floral transfer, playing condition, comb needs some cleaning, with 10 discs. – An early and rare Polyphon musical box in good original condition.

Polyphon Musikwerke, Leipzig. Spieluhr für 39,8 cm große Platten, mit 78 Tönen in einem Stahlkamm, oben offenes, ebonisiertes Gehäuse. Der Kamm ist unter der lackierten Stahl-Deckplatte verborgen. Mit "Polyphon Excelsior"-Schriftzug und Blumendekor, spielfähig. Der Kamm müßte etwas gereinigt werden, mit 10 Platten. – Eine frühe und seltene Polyphon-Spieluhr in gutem Originalzustand.
