Description
This is a relief-molded pottery moon flask from the Wedgwood Eleanor collection, finished in a coral and off-white color scheme. The vessel features a flattened circular body with two small lug handles at the shoulders and a short, narrow neck, all supported by an integrated oval pedestal base. The central decoration consists of a large circular medallion on both sides, displaying a radiating floral and acanthus leaf pattern in high relief against a textured cross-hatched ground. The piece is finished with a semi-matte cream glaze, accented by iron-red or coral-colored pigments applied to the molded details, rims, and handles to emphasize the intricate design. The base is impressed with the mark WEDGWOOD, followed by the alphanumeric code NW 433 and 62 E 10. It also features a stamp reading WEDGWOOD N.W. This item includes a provenance sticker from the Rubin collection and an inventory tag from Skinner. Dimensions: 8.00"L x 3.00"W x 9.00"H
