Top of the bbl. is marked with Colt's 2-line address, with a faint etched panel remaining on the left. Left side of the frame is marked with Colt's 3-line patent information. Grip straps exhibit a reapplied blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece custom plain wood grips. German silver half-moon blade front sight and V-notched frame rear sight. No matching numbers are present, save for on the trigger guard and rear grip strap.
