Signed in black felt tip by the legendary film producer in the lower left margin.

Hal Roach (1892-1992) was one of Hollywood's pioneering producers and the founder of Hal Roach Studios. During the silent and early sound eras, he produced many of the most enduring comedy films of the twentieth century, including the Our Gang (Little Rascals) series and the Laurel and Hardy comedies. His contributions to motion picture comedy earned him an Academy Honorary Award in 1984 for his extraordinary career in filmmaking.
