George Wahlen and Hershel "Woody" Williams dual autographed pair of First Day Covers. The lot includes a 1962 Abraham Lincoln issue First Day Cover signed by Medal of Honor recipient George E. Wahlen with his "MOH" notation and "Iwo Jima" inscription, along with a 1978 Captain James Cook First Day Cover signed by Medal of Honor recipient Hershel "Woody" Williams with his "M.O.H." notation and date "2-23-45."

George Edward Wahlen (1924–2009) received the Medal of Honor for extraordinary heroism while serving as a U.S. Navy hospital corpsman attached to the U.S. Marine Corps during the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II. Despite being wounded, Wahlen repeatedly exposed himself to intense enemy fire to treat and evacuate wounded Marines, actions for which he received the nation's highest military decoration.

Hershel "Woody" Williams (1923–2022) received the Medal of Honor for conspicuous gallantry during the Battle of Iwo Jima. Armed with a flamethrower, Williams single-handedly eliminated a series of heavily fortified Japanese pillboxes, enabling his fellow Marines to advance. He was the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from World War II until his passing in 2022.
