General Bruce K. Holloway (1912–1999) was a United States Air Force officer who served as Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1973. A distinguished combat pilot during World War II, he flew fighter missions in both the European and Pacific theaters and later held numerous senior command positions throughout the Cold War. Holloway played a significant role in shaping modern U.S. air power and strategic defense policy during one of the most pivotal periods of the Cold War.
