Kenneth H. Dahlberg (1917-2011) was a decorated World War II Army Air Forces fighter pilot who flew combat missions in the European Theater during World War II. Following the war, he became a successful businessman and later entered the national spotlight through his connection to the Watergate scandal when a $25,000 campaign contribution he made to President Richard Nixon's reelection committee was traced to the Watergate burglars. The discovery of Dahlberg's check became one of the earliest key financial links in the investigation that ultimately unraveled the Watergate scandal and led to Nixon's resignation.
