Randall "Duke" Cunningham (1941–2021) was a United States Navy fighter pilot and Vietnam War flying ace. Flying the F-4 Phantom II, he became the U.S. Navy's first ace of the Vietnam War after achieving five confirmed aerial victories in 1972. Following his military service, Cunningham served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California from 1991 until 2005.
