John C. McReynolds autographed card measuring approximately 4.5 x 2.75", signed and inscribed, "J.C. McReynolds, Justice U.S. Supreme Court," and dated April 1935. The signature and inscription are penned in graphite.
Fine condition with light age toning and minor handling wear.
John C. McReynolds (1862-1946) served as an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court from 1914 to 1941 after being appointed by President Woodrow Wilson. Previously, he served as Attorney General of the United States under President Wilson and earned a reputation as one of the Court's leading judicial conservatives. McReynolds participated in many landmark constitutional cases during the New Deal era before retiring in 1941.
