Large vintage figural pheasant sculpture with finely detailed chased and engraved feather decoration throughout the body, wings, head, and long tail. Naturalistically modeled standing form with particularly intricate texturing to the plumage. Underside bears multiple impressed marks, including a rectangular SANDORI / METAL mark and an additional mark appearing to include 925 and partially legible lettering. Metal composition has not been independently tested or verified. Measures approximately 15 inches long. Displays age-related patina, tarnish, surface scratching, oxidation/residue, and general wear consistent with age and use.
