Impressive antique cut-glass ewer or claret jug with elaborate 800 silver mounts, marked H & C 800 M. Features a large round cut-glass body with deeply cut floral and geometric decoration, ornate silver-mounted pedestal base and neck, scrolling handle, hinged covered spout with decorative finial, and richly detailed foliate ornament. Raised classical figural decoration embellishes the silver mounts along the sides of the glass body. Measures approximately 14.5 inches tall. Silver displays age-appropriate tarnish, patina, surface wear, and light scratching; glass appears in overall good visual condition. Please review photographs for hallmarks
